CLINIQUE - BEYOND PERFECTING

Zu meinem 36. Geburtstag habe ich mir eine neue Foundation gewünscht. Da mir mein altes Make-up von Astor ausgegangen ist, war ich froh, als ich einen €10 Gutschein von Douglas geschenkt bekommen habe. Bis jetzt hatte ich nur Make-ups aus der Drogerie oder von Body Shop verwendet. Ich hatte bisher auch keine lieblings- Make-up Marke, die ich regelmäßig kaufte. Die Make-ups haben mir nicht richtig zugesagt - entweder verschmolzen sie nicht richtig mit meiner Haut oder es mangelte ihnen an Deckkraft.

Ich muss auch zugeben, dass ich mir nie genug Zeit für den Einkauf genommen habe. Ich hab mich nie in einer Body Shop Filiale schminken lassen, um eine passende Foundation zu finden. Die Vorstellung, dass eine Shop Assistentin meine Haut genau inspiziert, verschiedene Bemerkungen macht und während Kunden daneben stehen, hat mich gestresst.

Trotzdem habe ich mich nach einer perfekten Foundation gesehnt. Sie muss leicht sein, gut mit meiner Haut verschmelzen und Unebenheiten und Hautiritationen abdecken können. Auf jedenfall darf sie nicht maskenhaft wirken, sondern muss sehr natürlich aussehen.
Ich war fest entschlossen, genau eine solche Foundation zu finden. Ich nahm mir vor ohne Make-up zum Douglas zu gehen und das gleich in der Früh sobald die Filliale offen hattte.

Es fühle sich komisch an, ohne Make-Up in ein Kosmetikstudio zu fahren. Ich fühlte mich soo verletztlich und fast nackt ohne Make-up. Als ob die Foundation einen Schutzschild vor der Umgebung darstellte. Ich beruhigte mich mit den Gedanken, dass ich ohne Schminke laufen oder schwimmen gehe und das hat auch noch nie jemand etwas gesagt. Wo sollte der Unterschied sein?

Mit diesen Gedanken ging ich in eine Douglas Filiale und war froh darüber, dass mir gleich eine Shop Assistentin entgegenkam. Ich erläuterte ihr meinen Wunsch, sie sah sich meine Haut an und stellte mir ein paar Fragen. Danach empfahl sie mir die Foundation BEYOND PERFECTING von der Marke Clinique - eine leichte Foundation und Concealer zugleich. Sie führte mich zu einem Stuhl und trug mir das Make-up auf.

Der Blick in den Spiegel hat mich positiv überrascht. Die Foundation verschmolz sehr gut mit meiner Haut und wirkte sehr natürlich. Ich musste diese Foundation sofort haben.

FAZIT

Die Beyond Perfecting Foundation + Concealer - Kombi hält sehr lange an, deckt perfekt alle Unebenheiten (Augenschatten, kleine Falten und Rötungen) ab. Ich brauche keinen Primer mehr, den ich vorher unter dem Make-up verwendet hatte.

Außerdem ist die Foundation ölfrei, weshalb sie matt ist und man nicht mehr zu einem Puder greifen muss.

Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist, dass sie 100% parfum-frei ist.

Es empfiehlt sich auch, die Foundation mit einem Pinsel aufzutragen und leicht in die Haut einzuarbeiten, so bekommt man ein natürliches Ergebnis.

Ein Nachteil jedoch is, dass die Marke Clinique keine Naturprodukte herstellt. Vielleicht rät Dir auch der Preis ein bisschen von einem Kauf ab, aber auf der anderen Seite ist die Flasche groß genug und mir genügt eine recht kleine Menge pro Anwendung.

Außerdem gibt es eine Aktion beim Douglas - wenn Du Dir jetzt ein Make-up Produkt kaufst bekommst du einen €5.00 Gutschein für deinen nächsten Make-up Einkauf. Dieser Gutschein gilt bis 30.04. Also, gibt es nicht genug Gründe dafür, sich ein neues Make-Up zu kaufen?!

I have wished for a new foundation for my 36th birthday. I was glad when I got a €10 coupon from Douglas, because my old make-up by Astor had run out. I have used make-ups from the drugstore or Body Shop until now. I didn´t have a favourite make-up brand that I regularly bought. The make-ups didn´t please me - they either didn´t blend into my skin well or they didn´t cover that well.
I also have to admit that I have never taken enough time for Make-up shopping. I´ve never had myself made up in a Body Shop store to find a suitable foundation. I was stressed by the imagination of a shop assistant checking my skin and commenting it while many customers are standing close beside.

Nevertheless, I longed for a perfect foundation. It must be light, has to blend into my skin well and cover dermatological problems. Most cerainly it musn´t look like a mask, but very natural.

I intended to find exactly such a foundation. I planed to go to the Douglas store right after if would have opened - wearing no make-up.

It really felt strange going to a beauty salon without wearing any make-up. I felt so vulnerable and almost naked without it. As if the foundation had been a protection from my surrounding. I got calmer when I realised that I run or swim without make-up and nobody ever was saying anything. Where should be the difference?

With that thoughts in my head I went to a Douglas store and was glad that I was instantaneously approched by a shop assistant. I explained her what I was looking for, she took a good look at my skin and asked me some questions. After that she recommended the foundation BEOYND PERFECTING by Clinique to me - a very light foundation and concealer at the same time. She brought me to a chair and applied the make-up.

I was positively suprised by the look in the mirror.The foundation blended very well into my skin and looked very natural. I had to buy it right away.

RESULT

The Beyond Perfecting Foundation and Concealer stays on very long, it perfectly covers dark circles around the eyes, small wrinkles and redness. I do not need any primer more, which I was usually using under the make-up.

Furthermore, the foundation is  oil-free. That´s why you don´t need to use any extra powder anymore.

The other advantage is that it´s 100% frangrance - free.

It is also recommended to apply the foundation with a brush and to work it into the skin, so the resuld will look more natural.

But there is a downside. The Clinique brand doesn´t produce any natural products. In addition you can get discouraged by the price a bit, but on the other hand the bottle is big enough and I only need to apply a small amount.

Douglas has a special offer: if you buy a make-up product now you will get €5 coupon for your next make-up product purchase. This coupon is valid until 30.04. 2018. So, are not there enough reasons to buy new make-up?
