BUDAPEST - PARIS DES OSTENS

Budapest klingt nicht so wie Paris. Wenn man an Budapest denkt, stellt man sich wahrscheinlich eine Stadt im Osten vor, die nicht besonders viel zu bieten hat. Das ist aber völlig falsch. Budapest ist nicht nur "die Hauptstadt von Ungarn", sondern auch es ist eine Stadt, in der Sie sich nicht langweilen werden. Außerdem gehört sie laut der britischen Marktforschungsunternehmens Euromonitor International zu den zwanzig am häufigsten von Touristen besuchten Städten Europas. Meiner Meinung nach zurecht.

Budapest doesn´t sound like Paris. When you think about Budapes you probably imagine a city in the east, where you have got nothing to do. But that´s completely wrong. Budapest isn´t only the capital city of Hungary, it´s also a city, where you don´t get bored. However, Budapest belongs to the 20 most visited cities in Europe according to the british Euromonitor (marketing research company). I totally agree.

- Bei meinem Aufenthalt bin ich vielen Touristen begegnet, vor allem auf der Burg, auf Gellertberg und in der Altstadt.

I met a lot of tourists during my stay in Budapest, especially at the castle, in Gellertberg and in the old town.

- Budapest ist reich auf Thermalquellen, die sich in Buda befinden.

- der Spitzname von Budapest ist nicht umsonst "Paris des Ostens" - Budapest ist nicht nur richtig stolz auf seine historischen Bauwerke, sondern auch auf seine Entwicklung (moderne U-Bahn-Station, Erhaltung von historischen Gebäuden, die unzähligen Brücken über der Donau und viele nette Kaffehäuser).

it´s not for nothing that Budapest´s nickname is "Paris of the East". Budapest isn´t only proud of its history buildings, but also of its development. (modern subway-stations, upkeep of historical buildings, countless bridges over Danube and many lovely coffeehouses).

- Was Budapest auch sehr sympatisch macht ist, dass es nicht so perfekt wie Wien oder London ist. Es kann immer überraschen. Es hat eine Menge Potenzial.

Budapest also is especially likeable because it isn´t that perfect as Vienna or London. It can always be a suprise. It has a lot of potential.

- Und letzendlich, Budapest ist sehr angenehm, denn es ist nicht teuer.

And finally, its pleasant because it isn´t expensive.

Ich habe Budapest am ersten Septemberwochenende besucht. Über Booking.com habe ich mich für eine Unterkunft "Carolina Apartman" entschieden. Dieses Apartman befindet sich in Pest, etwa 5 Minuten Fußweg vom Bahnhof Keleti palyaudvar entfernt (U-Bahn Stationen M2 und M4). Carolina Apartman bietet 11 private vollausgestattete Apparments, das heißt mit Küche (Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Herd, Kühlschrank und Geschirr), Wohnzimmer mit LCD Fernseher, Kleiderschrank (Bügelbrett mit Bügeleisen, Radiowecker), Badezimmer (Dusche, Fön, Toilletteartikel). Als kleine Aufmerksamkeit fand ich auf dem Küchenstisch eine große Flasche Mineralwasser und zwei Packungen Cookies.

I visited Budapest at the first weekend in september. I booked an accomodation via booking.com "CAROLINA APARTMAN". This apartman is located in Pest, about 5- minute-walk from the railway station Keleti palyaudvar (subway lines M2 and M4). Carolina Apartman provides 11 private fully equipped flats, which means with fully equipped kitchen (water kettle, mikrowave, cooker, fridge and dishes), living room with LCD screen TV, wardrobe with (iron-iron, radio-alarm-clock), bathroom (shower, hairdryer, toilletress). As a small present I found a bottle of sparkling water and 2 packages of cookies on the table as well.

Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und die Möbel waren neu. Schließlich ist die Carolina Apartman seit Oktober 2016 als Mietwohnung freigegeben. Die Appartments befinden sich im Haus. Das ganze Haus wird von eineem Hausmeister betreut, welcher sich im Erdgeschoss befindet. Dieser hat mir auch die Apartmentschlüssel überreicht. Es gibt keine Rezeption im Hause. Mein Appartment wurde während der zwei Tage nicht gereinigt. Bei längerem Aufenthalt sollten Sie sich schon im voraus nach der Reinigung erkundigen. Mit dem Besitzer habe ich mich am folgenden Tag getroffen. Er spricht sehr gut English. Bei Fragen steht er gern zur Verfügung. Außerdem, steht auf der Reservierung seine Telefonnummer. Was ich wirklich erwähnenswert finde, ist die problemlose Kommunikation zwischen Besitzer, Hausmeister und Gast - und das vom ersten Tag an.

The flat was very clean and the furniture was new. After all Carolina Apartman has opened in october 2016.. The apartments are situated inside the house. A caretaker, who you can find on the ground floor, looks after the whole house. He also gave me the keys to my apartment. There is no reception in the house. My ap wasn´t cleaned during my stay. Please ask about cleaning in advance when you plan to stay longer. I met the owner on the second day. His English is very good. He is at your disposal if you have any questions. You can find his phone number on the reservation as well. I really want to mention that the communication between the apartment and me went smootly from the first day on.

Da sich das Apartman unweit vom Bahnhof befindet, werden Sie leider auch Obdachlose, Betrunkene sehen. Aus diesem Grund habe ich abends diese Gegend gemieden. Dennoch befinden sich in der Umgebung des Appartments viele Restaurants, Kaffehäuser, Shops und Supermärkte. Der Besitzer empfiehlt Ihnen gerne eine gute Lokalität.

Because of the apartment being nearby the railway station you will unfortunately see homeless and drunk people. Thats why I tried to avoid this area in the evening. But there are many restaurants, coffehouses, shops and supermarkets in the neighbourhood. The owner will gladly recommend a good location to you.

Leider ist es nicht möglich, zu Fuß von Keleti palyaudvar das Stadtzentrum zu erreichen. Aber sie können die U-Bahn Station - Linie M4 (Richtung Kelenfold vasutallomas - Bushaltestelle auch von Student Agency https://www.studentagency.cz/) nehmen und in Szent Gellert ter aussteigen. (Ein Tipp: in der U-Bahn können Sie sich beim Automaten eine 2-3 Tages-Karte kaufen - gültig für alle öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Es lohnt sich wirklich!!! Unfortunately it isn´t possible to walk to the city centre. But you can use the subway, line M4 (in direction Kelenfold vasutallomas - there is a bus stop - by Student Agency as well - check: https://www.studentagency.cz/ - the websites are in English too and railway station) and get off in Szent Gellert ter. (Hint: You can aslo buy a 2 or 3 day-ticket at the ticketmachine in the subway station - it´s valid for all the public station. It´s worth it.)

Auf Gellertberg befindet sich das Hotel und Thermalbad Gellert. Ein prächtiges Kurhotel. Die Hinweise auf die Heilquellen stammen aus dem Mittelalter. Im 13. Jhdt stand hier ein Hospital, später diente es als Bad der Osmanen. Während des 2. Weltkrieges wurde es zerstört und neu aufgebaut. Heutzuge ist es ein Institut für Hydrotherapie. Es ist für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich.

There is a hotel and thermal bath at Gellertberg. Gellertberg is a magnificent spa hotel. Evidence to the salutary wells is dated back to middle age. There was a hospital in 13th century, later on it was used by the Osman as a bath, It was destroyed during second world war and then rebuilt. Nowadays it´s an institute for hydrotherapy. It´s accesible for the public as well.

 



 

Felsenkapelle

 

Wenn Sie dann weiter gehen, kommen Sie zur Felsenkapelle. Die Felsenkapelle (die Kirche und das angrenzende Kloster) ist für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich und hat eine turbulente Geschichte - Mönche des Paulinerordnens - Komusnimus - etc. Am Eingang der Kapelle steht eine Statue des hl. Stephan (Szent Istvan) - des ersten ungarischen Königs. Von der Felsenkapelle haben Sie einen wunderschönen Ausblick über die Stadt.

When you continue your journey, you will get to the Felsenkapelle. The Felsenkapelle (the church and the adjoining monastery) is accesible for the public and has a turbulent history - monk of Pauline´s order - communism - etc. At the entrance you will find a statue of St. Stephan (Szent Istvan) - the first Hungarian king. You will get a wonderful view of the city from up there.

Steigen Sie hinauf durch den Park, gelangen Sie bald zu dem imposanten Freiheitsdenkmal. Auch dieses Denkmal hat verbunden mit dem Kommunismus, eine bewegende Geschichte. Vor dem Denkmal stand eine Figur der russischen Soldaten, später wurde sie entfernt.

Go up through the park and soon you will get to the impressive freedom monument. This monument has a turbulent history as well, especially during communism regime. There was a figure of Russian soldier standing in front of the monument, later on it was removed.

In der Nähe befindet sich auch eine Zitadelle, die 220 Meter lang und 60 Meter hoch ist. Leider hat auch dieses Denkmal eine traurige Vergangenheit, denn die österreichische Armee (Österrreich-Ungarn) wollte sie zerstören. Heute ist die Zitadelle geschlossen, aber der Verteidigungswall bietet einen fantastischen Blick auf die Stadt.

There is a citadell nearby, it´s about 220 meter long and 60 meter high. Unfortunately, this monument has a sad history as well, because the austrian army (Austria-Hungary) wanted to destroy it. Today it´s closed, but there is a defensive fortified barrier that offers an exciting view of the city.

Und hier kam der Punkt, wo ich mich verlaufen habe, weil ich falsch abgebogen bin. Ich musste mich mehrmals nachfragen bis ich zur Burg gelangen. Hier hatte ich die Gelegenheit, mit den Einheimischen zu sprechen. Die erste Dame erklärte mir zwar den richtigen Weg zum Park Taban und zur Burg, aber leider waren meine Begleitung und ich der Meinung, dass sich die Burg auf dem höchsten Punkt im Wald befinden müsste. So sind wir hinauf durch den Taban-Park spaziert anstatt diesen entlang zu gehen. Zur Sicherheit haben wir uns noch einmal bei einer jungen Ungarin nach dem richtigen Weg erkundigt. Sie hat fröhlich genickt. Zur unserer Überraschung sind wir dann aber beim Freiheitsdenkmal gelandet. Wir waren verwirrt. Statt uns an den Brücken zu orientieren - Buda Castle - Kettenbrücke - Gellert - Friedensbrücke mussten wir noch einmal um Hilfe bitten.

And at this point, I got lost, because I turned into the wrong street. I had to ask many times until I reached Buda castle. I had the opportunity to talk with Hungarians. The first woman explained the way to park Taban and to a castle to me. Unfortunately, not only I but also my companion thought that the castle had to be on the highest point hidden in the forest. So we went up through the park instead of walking around it. Just to be sure, we asked a young Hungarian girl for the right way again. She nodded happily. . But to our suprise we got to the freedom monument. We were confused. Instead of looking about the bridges - Buda Castle - Kettenbrücke, Gellert - Friedensbrücke - , we were forced to ask for help again.

Dann sind wir endlich zum Schloss gekommen. Das Burgpalast liegt 60 Meter über dem Westufer der Donau und erfuhr viele Veränderungen während seiner Geschichte. Hier befinden sich auch: Budapester Historisches Museum, Nationalbibliothek, , Ungarische Nationalgalerie, Burgtheater. Ich habe auch der ungarischen Armee auf dem Hof bei ihren Übung zusehen können. Als ich die Anlage verlassen habe, bin ich zur Matthiaskirche gekommen.

Finally we reached the castle The castle is situated 60 meter over Danube west-bank and had a lot of changes in its history. There also are situated: Budapest Historical Museum, National library, Hungarian National Galery, Castle Theatre etc. I saw the excercise of the Hungarian army at the courtyard, too. When I left the palace I got to the Matthias church.

Fischermen´s Bastion

 

Nicht weit von der Kirche entfernt befindet sich die Fischerbastei - von hier aus haben Sie eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Stadt. Trotz ihres Namens diente sie nie zur Verteidigung, sondern wurde als Aussichtsterasse genutzt.
There is a Fischermen´s bastion nearby the church - you get a wonderful view of the city from here. Fischermen´s bastion didn´t protect the city in the past, but was used as panorama terrace.

Break at Starbucks

 



Hier habe ich auch meine erste Pause beim Starbucks gemacht und kurz darüber nachgedacht auch das Labyrinth zu besuchen. Das Labyrinth befindet sich in der Uri Utca, unweit von dem Königspalast, und diente als Folterkammer, Gefängnis, Versteck oder als Weinkeller - und während des Zweiten Weltkriegs auch als Luftzschutzbunker. At this place I took a short break at Starbucks and was thinking of visiting the labyrinth for a moment. The Labyrinth is located in Uri Utca, not far away from royal palace, and was used as a torture centres, prison, hiding place, wine cellar and during the second world war as air-raid-shelter. Leider hatte ich nicht so viel Zeit, weil ich nur 2 Tage in Budapest war. Deshalb habe ich das Zentrum noch gesehen. Es gibt eine Bushaltestelle (Diz Ther) unweit des Palastes. Der Bus fährt durch einen Tunnel, den der schottische Ingenieur Adam Clark erbauen ließ. Hier ist der Mittelpunkt der Stadt, wo die Null-Kilometer-Steine thronen. Er fährt weiter über die Kettenbrücke, die erste feste Brücke - bis zum Bajcsy-Zs.utc., wo ich ausgestiegen bin und zum Parlament gegangen bin.

Unfortunately, I didn´t have much time, because I only spent 2 days in Budapest. Thats why I haven´t seen a city centre yet. There is a bus station (Diz Ther) nearby the royal palace. The bus goes throw the tunnel, that was built by the english engineer Adam Clark. This place is the centre of the city, here are the zero-kilometer-stones. Then the bus went over the Kettenbrücke - the first bridge over the river. I got off in Bajcsy - Zs. utc and walked to the parliament.

 

Parliament

 

Gegen Ende 18. Jahrhunderts wurde das Parlament auf dem Kossuth - Lajos - Platz erbaut. Das Parlament (Oszaghaz) ist das größte Bauwerk des Landes, dem das Londoner Houses of Parliament als Vorbild diente. Oszaghas ist 268 Meter lang, 96 Meter hoch und hat ungefähr 691 Räume. In der kommunistischen Zeit wurde der rote Stern auf die Kuppel des Parlaments gesetzt.

At the end of 18th century the parliament was built on the Kossuth-Lajos-Platz. The parliament (Oszaghaz) is the biggest building in the country, modelled after a London´s House of Parliament. It´s about 268 meter long, 96 meter high and has got about 691 rooms. During the communism time the red star was put on the chappel´s cupola.

In der Areal befindet sich auch die Statue von Ferenc II. Rakoczi - er führte Kämpfe gegen die Habsburger. Das Parlament und sein gesamtes Areal wird von der ungarischen Armee bewacht. Vor dem Gebäude gibt es auch einen Wachposten.

There is a statue of Ferenc IInd Rakoczi too - he led fights against Habsburg. The parliament and the whole area is quarded by the hungarian army. There is also quard in front of the building.

Das Parlament und die St. Stephans Basilika sind einen Besuch wert. Die Kathedrale ist dem hl. Stephan, dem ersten christlichen König Ungarns gewidmet . Sie gehört zum Unesco-Welterbe.

The parliament and the St. Stephan Basilica are worth visiting. The basilica is dedicated to Saint Stepahn who was the first christian king of Hungary. It belongs to Unesco - World Heritage.

Und hiermit höre ich jetzt auf über Sehenswürdigkeiten zu schreiben. Natürlich könnte ich auch noch über die Staatsoper, die jüdischen Viertel, das Budapester Eye und vieles mehr erzählen, aber ich möchte jetzt lieber über die Stadt schreiben. Budapest bietet unzählige kleine Gässchen mit gemütlichen Kaffehäusern und Restaurants in der Altstadt oder beim Fluß. Die Ungarn sitzen gerne dort und genießen ihren Kaffee. Das Essen ist güngstig und köstlich. Der Wein, besonders Tokaj ist unwiderstehlich. Ich empfehle Ihnen in Forint zu zahlen. Am Anfang ist es ein bisschen ungewohnt, wenn Sie zum Beispiel 6000 Forint zahlen müssen. Und wenn Sie ihn mit Euro verwechseln, werden Sie mit einem Schmunzeln belohnt. Es gibt dort genug Boutiquen, Shops.

And now I stopp writing about sightseeing. Of course, I could mention a lot of things about: state opera, jewish area, Budapester Eye and many more but I would rather write about the city. There are many small alleways with cozy coffehouses and restaurants in the city centre or nearby the river. The Hungarians enjoy sitting and drinking coffee there. The food is cheap and delicious. The wine, especially Tokaj is irresistible. I recommend to you to pay in local currency, Forint. At the beginning you will feel a little strange, when you have to pay 6000 Forint. But when you mix it up with Euro, you will be rewarded with a chuckle. There are many boutiques and shops in Budapest.

Und wie sind eigentlich die Ungarn? Das kann ich nicht beurteilen. Schließlich hat mir nur eine junge Dame falsch navigiert, alle anderen waren freundlich und aufmerksam. Außerdem war ich nur 2 Tage in Budapest. Natürlich kenne ich einige Ungarn aus Wien. Diese waren die Ersten, die ich gefragt habe, was ich in Budapest unternehmen soll. Ehrlich gesagt, ich war von einigen ein bisschen enttäuscht, dass sie nicht positiver über Budapest bzw Ungarn im Allgemeinen gesprochen haben. Zum Glück hat mein Bekannter Csaba mir dann gute Hinweise gegeben und mir von Budapest und anderen ungarischen Städten sehr schön berichtet. Und ich bin froh dass ich die Reise fortgesetzt und diese wunderschöne Stadt, besucht habe.

And how are the Hungarians? I don´t know, I can´t judge them. Finally, only one young girl sent me in the wrong direction. The others were friendly and attentative. And I spent only 2 days in Budapest, too. Of course, I know some Hungarians from Vienna. They were the first, I asked about what to do in Budapest. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed, that they didn´t speak more positive about the city and country. Luckily my friend Csaba gave me some references about Budapest and other places in Hungary as well. And I´m happy that I madde this trip. Budapest is a beautiful city!

Wie ich Ihnen in dem vorigen Post versprochen habe, möchte ich Ihnen meine WUNSCHLISTE FÜR HERBST 2017 präsentieren. Als ich mit dem Blog angefangen habe, habe ich mich entschieden, nur selten über Fashion zu schreiben. Natürlich, ich interessiere mich für Mode, gehe gern hübsch und gepflegt von zu Hause los. Aber ehrlich gesagt: ich folge keinen Trends, kaufe selten Fashion - Magazine. Mein Stil ist eher sportlich-elegant.

As I promised in the previous post, I would like to presend my WISHLIST FOR AUTUMN 2017 to you. When I started blogging, I decided to write very little about fashion. I´m interested in fashion, I like to go outside nice and well-groomed. But honestly: I don´t follow any trends, I buy rarely fashion magazines. I would describe my style as sporty-elegant.

 

Nun habe ich darüber nachgedacht, zu Beginn jeder Saison eine Wunschliste zu kreieren. Diese Wunschliste wird in 3 Kategorie unterteilt:

 

1. Kleider, Schuhe und Accesoires

2. Kosmetik

3. Haushalt und Dekoration

 

I have thought about creating a wishlist at the beginning of every saison. This wishlist is diveded into 3 categories:

 

1. Clothes, Shoes, Accesoires

2. Cosmetic

3. Household and Dekoration

 

Am Ende der Saison (also Ende November) zeige ich Ihnen, was ich genau gekauft habe. Ehrlich gesagt, ich finde Wunschlisten sehr praktisch.

 

At the end of the saison (so, at the end of November) I would like to show you what I exactly bought. I find wishlist to be very handy.

Das Sakko! Ein klassisches Stück, das in jedem Kleiderschrank sein sollte. Es passt einfach zu allem - zu der Stoffhose, der Jeans, dem Rock oder dem Maxi Rock. Es ist ein perfekter Begleiter für den Herbst. Sie können verschiedene Längen und Farben wählen.

BLAZER

Blazer! A classical piece, every wardrobe should contain. It goes with everything - trousers, jeans, skirts, maxi skirts. It´s a perfect companion for autumn. You can buy it in different lenghts and colour.

 

JEANS

Ehrlich gesagt, ich habe nur 5 Jeans in meinem Kleiderschrank - eine Skinny Jeans, Skinny Destroyed Jeans, Flared Jeans, eine Boyfriend Jeans und Skinny Jeans in Schwarz. Die anderen sind klassische Hosen - in beige, dunkel - blau oder schwarz. Die Jeans hab ich nun ein paar Jahren und ich liebe sie alle. Meine lieblings flared jeans von Next werfe ich nie weg. Und das, obwohl Sie bei den Knien ausgewaschen ist, weil ich sie ungefähr 5 - 6 Jahre in meinem Kleiderschrank habe. Trotzdem habe ich mich entschlossen noch eine Jeans dazu zu kaufen. Mein Favorit: relaxed jeans mom.

JEANS

Honestly, I have only got 5 jeans in my wardrobe - skinny, skinny destroyed jeans, flared jeans, boyfriend jeans and skinny in black. The others are classical trousers - in beige, dark blue and black. I have had this jeans for a few years and I love them all. For example: I don´t ever throw away my favourite flared jeans by NEXT. Although they have got washed-up knees, cause I have had them for 5-6 years . Nevertheless I have decided to buy another pair of jeans - my favourite one - relaxed mom jeans.

 SCHWARZE HOSE

Die klassische schwarze Hose. Sie beindruckt zwar niemanden, ist jedoch ein "piece", das in jeden Kleiderschrank gehört. Für mich ist sie ein Must-Have, da ich während meiner Arbeit hauptsächlich in schwarz-weiß gekleidet bin. Ehrlich gesagt, nicht nur in der Arbeit, sondern auch, wenn ich mit meinem Freund fortgehe - zum Beispiel auf Dinner. Die klassische schwarze Hose enttäuscht mich nie-

 

BLACK PANTS

The classical black trousers: in fact they impress nobody, but they belong into every wardrobe. For me it´s a"Must-Have", cause I ´m mainly dressed in black-white combination at work. To be honest, not only at work, but also when I go out with my boyfriend for dinner for example. The black trousers don´t dissapoint me ever.

In welcher Farbe haben Sie Ihr Badezimmer? In weiß-braun? Oder in Orange-grün? Meine Farbkombination ist: grün - braun. Bei mir hängen immer 3 Handtücher im Badezimmer, natürlich in Grün oder in Braun - ein Badehandtuch, ein kleines Handtuch fürs Gesicht und ein für die Haare. Nun habe ich vor, mir zusätzlich kleine Gäste-Handtücher zuzulegen.

KLEIDERSCHRANK AUSMISTEN

Kleiderschrank aufräumen und dabei sich kompromisslos von den Sachen trennen, die man nicht braucht oder die man längere Zeit nicht angehabt hat. Wie lange denken Sie, dass ich gebraucht habe, bis ich meinen Kleiderschrank aufgräumt habe und mich von einigen Kleidern emotionslos trennen konnte? Ich hab genau 2 Tage gebraucht bis ich zufrieden war. Ich hab genau 5 Tage gebraucht, bis ich die Kleider weggeschmissen habe, von denen ich mich nicht trennen wollte. Sie haben einfach nicht mehr zu meinem Stil und meiner Persönlichkeit gepasst.

In this article I will tell you how to clear out your wardrobe effectively and what to pay attention about during future shopping.

 

Ich kann Ihnen empfehlen, Ihren Kleiderschrank jede neue Saison aufzuräumen. So bekommen Sie einen Überblick, was Sie in ihn haben, nicht getragen haben und kaufen brauchen. Sie sparen Geld und auch Ihre Zeit beim dem Kleiderwahl jeden Morgen.

I can recommend you clean up your wardrobe every new saison. You get an overview of what you have in your wardrobe, what youd didn´t wear and what you need to buy. You save your money and time with your clothes selection every morning.

 

Die Frage ist aber: was kommt raus und was bleibt drinen? Räumen Sie Ihren Kleiderschrank komplett aus. Nehmen Sie jedes Teil einzeln vor und stellen Sie sich diese Fragen: Passt diesen Teil noch zu mir? Sitzt er wirklich noch gut? Entsprich es meinem Stil? Würde ich es jetzt sofort tragen? Auf diese Weise behalten Sie nur die Kleider, die Sie glücklich macht.

The question is: what has to go and what stays in there? Empty your whole wardrobe and sort your clothes. Look at each piece individually and ask yourself: Does this piece suit me? It´s really fitting well still? Does it correspond to my style? Would I wear it right now? This way you´re only keeping clothes, that make you happy.

 

Beschäftigen Sie sich mit Ihren Klamotten, sehen Sie sich alles an, probieren Sie sie und lassen Sie sie einfach kompromislos gehen, wenn sie nicht passen. Klar, Kleidung kann auch emotionalen Wert haben, aber es ist eben auf rationaler Ebene leichter, sich von Kleidung zu trennen, die man z.B. nicht mehr trägt.

Busy yourself with clothes, look them all, try them out and let them go, if they don´t suit you. Of course, the clothes have an emotional value, but sort them on the rational level - clothes, you haven´t worn for a long time.

 

Minimalismus bedeutet Reduktion. Manchmal ist ein halb leerer Kleiderschrank mit gut ausgewählten Kleidungstücke besser, als einer der zu viele "okay" Sachen enthält.

Minimalism means reduction. Sometimes a half empty wardrobe with well-selected clothes is better than one that includes too many unworn and unwanted items.

Das Wesentliche im Kleiderschrank sollte der eigene Stil sein. Schaffen Sie sich eine Basis an vielseitig kombinierbaren Basics, in denen Sie sich wohlfühlen. Achten Sie auf die Materalien aus denen Ihre Kleidungstücke gefertigt sind. Naturfassern wie Baumwolle, Leinen, Hanf, Wolle, Seide sind langlebig. Synthetik Fassern wie Polyester riechen hingegen schnell unangenehm, fühlen sich oft nicht gut auf unserer Haut an und schaden zudem unserem Grundwasser. Wählen Sie die Sachen so, dass Sie gut kombinierbar sind. Versuchen Sie möglichst viele gut kombinierbare Lieblingsteile unterzubringen. Und entscheiden Sie sich für 1-2 Grundfarben.

The essence of your wardrobe should be your own style. Create a basic of well combinable basics, in which you feel most comfortable. You should prefer natural fabrics like cotton, linen, hemp, wool and silk. Those are very long lasting and they are much better than synthetic fabrics. Polyester for example smells faster, feels often uncomfortable on our skin, and it is very harmful to our enviroment. Try to include as many well combinable clothes into your wardrobe as possible. And settle for 1-2 basic colors.

 

Meine Grundfarben sind schwarz und weiß. Ich greife meistens für die oben gennanten Stoffe beim Einkaufen. Mein Stil ist eher elegant- sportlich. In der Arbeit trage ich weiß-Schwarz angezogen. Ich investiere lieber in die Qualität statt Quantität.

My basic colors are black and white. I choose mainly fabrics that I meantioned above. My stile is rather sporty-elegant. I´m white black-dressed in my work. I realize too, it´s better to invest into quality instead of quantity.

 

Man hat tendenziell immer mehr Schuhen und Taschen und will sie alle behalten. Für eine minimalistische Garderobe sollten fünf Paar Schuhe pro Saison reichen. Welche Sie kaufen, in welcher Farbe hängt von Ihren Hobbys und Job ab.

One always has more shoes and bags and always wants to keep to them. But you need only 5 pair of shoes per every season. What shoes and bags buy, in which color, depends on your hobbies and job.

 

Ich habe zum Beispiel folgende Schuhen für den Herbst: Ballerinas, Pumps, Loafers, Chelsea Boots und Sneakers. Und Taschen: zwei kleine Taschen, eine große rote Tasche, andere in Schwarz und noch eine Einkauftasche in Braun.

I have for example 5 shoes for the autumn: ballerina, pumps, loafers, chelsea boots and sneaker. And bags: 2 small bags, one big red , the other in black and in brown.

 

Übrigens Einkäufe: Versuchen Sie das Motto zu folgen: Trends sind kurzweilig, Ihr Stil nicht. Investieren Sie lieber in Qualität, überlegen Sie vor dem Einkaufen welche Schnitte, Muster und Materialen Sie gerne tragen und wählen Sie neue Kleidungstücke dazu aus. Kaufen Sie nur, was Sie wirklich brauchen - so vermeiden Sie Fehleinkäufe. Wenn Sie bei einem Teil unsicher sind, lassen Sie es im Shop hängen und schlafen Sie eine Nacht drüber. Seien Sie vorsichtig beim Sale und fragen Sie sich mehrmals, ob Sie die Sache wirklich brauchen und ob Sie sie für den vollen Preis gekauft hätten? Falls nicht, lassen Sie sie. Kaufen Sie Second Hand, nicht nur Zaro, Mango usw. Meistens finden Sie die schönsten Schätze im Second Hand.

By the way shopping: Try to follow a slogan: trends are diverting, your style isn´t. Invest into quality, think about the cuts, patterns and stuf. Choose new clothes to your personality and style. Buy what you really need - you avoid mispurchase. If you are unsure, sleep one night  before you buy it. Be careful with sale and ask yourself many times if you really need this piece and if you would buy it for the full price. If not, leave it in a shop . Buy second hand, not only Zara, Mango. You will find valuable treasures in the second hand.

You can run 4 km or 2 km. Your participations will support ill children, elderly people in need of care, rehab patients and people in exceptional situations and in life challenging phases . I´m looking forward to it.
