FROHE WEIHNACHTEN UND EINEN GUTEN RUTSCH INS NEUE JAHR!

Ich hatte vor, in meinem letzten Artikel vor Weihnachten über einen Laufwettbewerb zu schreiben. Leider hat sich das nicht ergeben. Das Wetter passte gut - es hat weder geschneit noch geregnet - aber ich habe mich nicht gut gefühlt. In den letzten Tagen schlief ich meistens bis Mittag und fühlte mich nachher trotzdem schlapp und müde. Auch am Sonntag, als der Laufwettbewerb stattfand, kroch ich erst nach Mittag aus dem Bett. Ich hatte keine Lust, mich für einen Laufwettbewerb vorzubereiten.

Es tat mir einerseits zwar Leid, dass ich nicht mitlaufen konnte, andererseits verbrachte ich dafür einen schönen Sonntag mit meinem Freund zu Hause. Ich war letztendlich froh, dass ich mir diese Pause gegönnt habe.

Ich hatte genügend Zeit, über alles Mögliche nachzudenken: In ein paar Tagen ist Weihnachten. Es ist die Zeit, die man mit der Familie und mit Freunden verbringt. Heuer werde ich den Weihnachtstag nur mit meinem Freund feiern, weil ich am Nachmittag arbeiten muss.

Obwohl ich mehrmals am Christkindlmarkt war, bin ich überhaupt nicht in Weihnachtsstimmung, Die Wohnung ist auch nicht festlich geschmückt und wir haben keinen Weihnachtsbaum zu Hause. Ich backe auch keine Weihnachtskekse oder Lebkuchen. Ich zünde nur Adventkerzen gemeinsam mit meinem Freund an. Es wird an Heilig Abend nur Abendessen geben - Hähnchen mit Ananas und Rotwein. Aber ich freue mich auf diesen Abend.

Auf jeden Fall wünsche ich Ihnen wunderschöne Weihnachten und dass Sie unter dem Weihnachtsbaum finden, was Sie sich gewünscht haben. Und allen, die an Heilig Abend arbeiten müssen, wünsche ich so wenig Stress wie nur möglich.

Da ich nicht vorhabe in der Weihnachtseit zu bloggen, wünsche ich Ihnen auch gleich ein glückliches neues Jahr. Ich hoffe, dass Sie voller Kraft ins Neue Jahr starten und das Beste daraus machen können. Und vergessen Sie nicht, mit Optimismus und Elan können Sie mehr erreichen.

Ich hoffe, wir sehen uns in der zweiten Jänner-Woche wieder. Dann werde ich Ihnen verraten, worauf Sie sich bei meinem Blog freuen können und welche Änderungen vor der Tür stehen.

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

Actually I intended to write my last post before Christmas about a running competition. Unfortunately it turned out differently. The weather was nice. It wasn‘t snowing or raining. But I wasn´t feeling well. In the past days I slept until midday and I felt very tired and exhausted nevertheless. I also felt that way on Sunday when the running competition took place, but I crawled out of my bed after midday for the first time. I had no pleasure to get prepared for a running competition.

On the one hand it was a real pity that I couldn´t join the competition. On the other hand I spent a wonderful Sunday with my boyfriend at home. In the end I was happy that I took a break.

I had enough time to thing about everything. In a few days it‘s Christmas. It´s a time we spend with our family and our friends. This year I will celebrate only with my boyfriend because I have to work in the afternoon.

Although I went to Christmas markets many times this year, I`m not in christmas mood at all. The flat isn´t decorated festively and we don´t have a christmas tree at home. I don´t bake any christmas cookies or gingerbread. I only light Advent candles together with my boyfriend. On Christmas there only will be dinner - chicken with pineapple and red wine. But I´m looking forward to this evening.

Well, I wish you merry Christmas and that I hope you‘ll find whatever you wished for under the Christmas tree. And for those who have to work on christmas day: I wish you as little stress as possible.

Because I don´t plan blogging during the christmas days, I also wish you a happy new year. I hope, you can start into the upcoming year with enough energy and hopefully you do the best of it. And do not forget, you can achieve more with optimism and pep.

I hope we will see each other again in the second week of January. Then I will tell you what you can be looking forward to on my blog and what changes I plan to make.
